With the new school year fast approaching, primary schools teachers will soon be trawling the internet for new ideas and resources for their foreign language lessons. Some may be looking forward to adding to their already extensive file of worksheets and activities by downloading freebies from resource sites or making their own if they have the language confidence. Others will be nervous at the thought of knowing how to deliver a quality language lesson or pronouncing words accurately. Many will be uncomfortable with how to assess and show progression in MFL and, of course, most will be dreading an SLT observation or even an Ofsted inspection.
Over the 2018 summer term, Language Magnet published a series of 3 articles in Education Business magazine looking at the issues faced by primary school heads and teachers who have to deliver and show progression in a foreign language in order to meet the Government's MFL National Curriculum standards. Language Magnet has in-depth experience and knowledge that provides a welcome relief for primary teachers that need help and has shared some of these ideas with Education Business magazine readers. From now until the end of September 2018, Language Magnet is offering a 50% discount on the first three modules of the Language Magnet programme. Click here to view the programme and take up this introductory offer.
